IPC Section 483: Counterfeiting a property mark used by another
Indian Penal Code, 1860 · Chapter 18: Offences relating to Documents and Property Marks
Repealed on 1 July 2024 and replaced by the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 (BNS).
Whoever counterfeits any 1***property mark used by any other person shall be punished with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to two years, or with fine, or with both.
