Jewel Sort is a gem sort puzzle on a grid of jewels. Every gem has a matching colored base somewhere on the board; lift groups of gems, park them on a small shelf when you need room, and drop them onto their bases until every jewel is home.
How to play Jewel Sort
- Tap a misplaced gem to lift it together with the touching gems of the same color.
- Tap an empty base of that color to drop the group onto its home.
- Out of room? Tap the shelf to park the group there and come back to it later.
- Keep going until every gem sits on its own color.
Rules
- Touching gems of the same color move together, including diagonal neighbours.
- A gem already on its own color is locked in place.
- The shelf has limited slots, so parked gems must eventually go home.
- Dropping a group onto the wrong color does nothing.
Tips to get better
- Clear the colors that block the most bases first.
- Use the shelf as a short-term holding area, not storage: empty it as soon as you can.
- Look for gems whose bases are already free; placing them opens up the board for the rest.
- When a group is too big for the free bases, the leftovers stay lifted, so plan where they go next.
