Reading the Act and reporting concerns

Other language: हिंदी

Understand the law without confusing a learning website, an RTI request and an official complaint.

The Act separates definitions, special judges, offences, investigation, property attachment and prosecution-related provisions. Use the chapter list to locate the relevant stage, then read the full section including explanations and provisos. Section 24 is omitted and section 31 is repealed; their historical page entries must not be read as current protection or requirements.

Banaka explains provisions and does not receive or file corruption complaints. An RTI application seeks records; it does not by itself start a PCA investigation. For reporting, use the relevant official agency's own website and check its jurisdiction and instructions. Central and state mechanisms are not interchangeable, and this page does not select an agency for your facts.

Fictional example

Fictional example: a reader wants a copy of a public expenditure record and also suspects an unofficial demand. Obtaining the record through RTI and reporting the allegation are separate actions with different requirements.

What not to assume

Do not post allegations, names, account details or evidence on this website. Nothing here guarantees confidentiality, immunity or action by an agency.
